India Lewis has a background in English Literature and Art, having studied the former at Jesus College, Cambridge, and the latter at Falmouth and the Courtauld. She has since worked in various modern British galleries, and currently works in Damien Hirst’s client liaison team.

In her spare time, she writes the visual culture chapter for The Year’s Work in Critical and Cultural Theory, and has also contributed to the Eastern European journal, Kajet.

She is a compulsive reader and researcher, the kind of person who likes to write essays for fun. She is also the co-founder of @radicalwomenshistory.
