Beth McIntyre is a museum and gallery consultant, and freelance art historian and curator, based in Wales. Beth has wide-ranging experience in researching and interpreting art collections. For many years she worked as a fine art curator at Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales. There she curated numerous exhibitions and displays in the art galleries. She curated and researched the works on paper collection and has published and built up a specialist knowledge of Welsh art including the artists Gwen John and Augustus John, and the collectors Gwendoline and Margaret Davies. She has recently researched and catalogued the portrait collection of Guy's and St Thomas' Foundation. She has extensive experience in community engagement and consultation and has a passion for developing exciting new ways of engaging with collections and broadening audiences.
