Aindrea Emelife is an independent curator and art historian from London. In 2021 she was appointed to the Mayor of London's Commission for Diversity in the Public Realm. Recent exhibitions include 'BLACK VENUS' at Fotografiska New York and 'Citizens of Memory', The Perimeter London. In 2022, Emelife released her first book, A Brief History of Protest Art. Aindrea has written for many international publications including the Financial Times, ArtReview, Frieze, BBC and The Guardian, and has presented art documentaries for the BBC and Sky Arts. Aindrea has recently been appointed as Contributing Editor for Elle UK.
