Charles Frederick Tunnicliffe, OBE, RA (1 December 1901 – 7 February 1979) was an internationally renowned naturalistic painter of British birds and other wildlife. He spent most of his working life on the Isle of Anglesey. In 1981 the contents of his studio was purchased by the Isle of Anglesey Borough Council. The exhibition 'The Charles Tunnicliffe Collection' held at Oriel Môn, Anglesey gives an opportunity to see some of his outstanding artworks from the Oriel's extensive collection. This exhibition highlights examples of his early drawings to his finished paintings, emphasising his incredible talent and artistic abilities.
