Boyd & Evans: High Time
27 May – 17 September 2023
This exhibition celebrates fifty-five years of Boyd & Evans as a creative partnership. Fionnuala Boyd and Les Evans have been collaborating as Boyd & Evans since the late 1960s, working in paint and photography. Boyd & Evans: High Time focuses on their work as painters and spans their career, from early existential dramas in urban and suburban settings and scenes from Milton Keynes to extensive travels in the USA and Borneo.
This Curation showcases the UK public collection works in the exhibition, which also features over 70 paintings from private collections as well as new commissions.
