Ym 1938 trefnwyd arddangosfa o waith yr artist ar gyfer Arthur Greatorex Ltd., Cyhoeddwyr Printiau a Deliwr Gweithiau Celf, Llundain. Roedd y sioe yn cynnwys amrywiaeth o weithiau celf, gan gynnwys casgliad o baentiadau olew wedi'u gwneud ar gynfas heb ei baratoi. In 1938 an exhibition of the artist’s work was arranged for Arthur Greatorex Ltd, Print Publishers and Dealers in Works of Art, London. The show included a variety of artworks, including a collection of oil paintings made on unprimed cloth. It is likely that this is a study for a painting of a hare that was shown in the exhibition, and which is now held by Macclesfield Museums/Silk Heritage Trust.
