A single totem which celebrates the natural habitats that have been created and the natural wildlife that now resides within the park The front face features an owl, a fish, two acorns and a lizard, the right side a duck, some cogs and flying birds. The totem is set in a small stone-walled enclosure mounted into a masonry base. It marks one of the 11 entrances to a new woodland park created on land reclaimed from the former Gilfach, Brittania and Bargoed collieries and following the line of the Rhymney River.
