A segmented globe that appears to be formed from two plated spheres, one within the other. The sculpture is helical, presented in sections with slices twisted from the vertical on a spiral, recalling the structure of sea-shells but also a series of steps. The effect is of organic life crossed with machinery. It is presented slightly off vertical, supported by a rectangular stone. The sculpture is one of a series of three made by the artist.
