White wove paper with a lace-paper border. At the centre is a lithographed design printed in gold ink with a central oval inside an octagonal frame with a tessellated pattern and four radiating leafy branches with the words: 'Love' / 'Truth' / 'Constancy' / 'Fidelity' on four sides. A puzzle purse (blank interior) decorated with a stencilled design of bluebells is attached at the centre. A hand-written message in black ink (presumably written by the sender) at upper and lower centre: 'remember me / sweet Valentine'. 'KERSHAW LONDON' stamped at lower left and right. The interior is blank. See also P.14414-R-L9, another Kershaw design with a puzzle purse which was found loose in the same album between nos 58 and 59.
