An installation occupying the central oculus space from third to second floor levels at the entrance to the History Galleries in BMAG. The installation comprises 360 fine link aluminium chains, suspended from a stainless steel housing containing a motor and lighting, and secured to the lower rim of the oculus opening. The centre of the installation contains a series of dichroic filters suspended on threads, creating a shifting quality of coloured light. The whole suspended element rotates 90 degrees timed to complete the movement over one minute, and one minute to return to its original position.
