A large figure, incorporating themes derived from consultations with local communities. These include a range of elements related to the history and character of Parkwood Springs area, such as woodland and deer park features, coppice workers' tools and domestic artefacts. designed as a gateway on the opposite side of the path is the companion piece, a shield embedded into a rock depicts the sculpture and carries an inscription.
