Scotland’s unfinished monument, modelled on the Parthenon, to the Scottish soldiers and sailors who died fighting in the Napoleonic Wars. It features an octastyle Greek Doric colonnade with two return columns to either side. A substructure supports three steps, above which are the fluted columns and an architrave with gutter on top.
