A street scene. In the centre of the cobbled road is a horse-drawn fire engine. Two horses are pulling the engine, whilst six firemen are sat on it. The horses look like they are galloping at a fast speed. People can be seen in the streets. In the foreground, on the left are two young girls, the one on the left is taller than the one on the right. The taller girl has her arm around the shorter one.
