The work was exhibited in the 'MIRRORS' exhibition at Stoke-on-Trent City Museum & Art Gallery (now The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery) 1986–1987. It was initially believed lost in the fire of 2000 at the artist's studio but unexpectedly came to light in 2004 shortly after the artist's death.
