This statuette is a miniature version of the one designed by John Bell, and cast by the Coalbrookdale Company, c.1851 for the Great Exhibition. The statuette features in the 1877 Coalbrookdale Company catalogue (No. 154). Unlike the full-scale statue, a quiver is fastened to back of the tree stump with a belt and buckle.
