A view looking down Minster Street in Salisbury showing medieval buildings with the Poultry Cross in the foreground. The Poultry Cross is the last surviving of four medieval crosses in the city which marked the position of various market trade areas.

The Museum holds a number of artworks depicting the Cross but this version is particularly interesting because it depicts it with repair work in progress.
