A rear view of the church that sits above the town on Church Street, showing the 18h century nave, which was replaced by the Victorians in 1876. The tomb to the left of the picture is that of Samuel Mayer, a tanner and courier in the town. He was the father of the antiquary and collector Joseph Mayer.

It is thought that the Mayer family commissioned this painting and which later donated to the Brampton Museum by Joseph.
