A war memorial in perpendicular Gothic style. It is a three-stage octagonal monument, with the second stage having open arcades, buttresses and crocketed pinnacles, and the upper stage a lantern with miniature flying-buttresses to base of the drum, buttresses and crocketed pinnacles, barred arched windows and ogee capping with poppyhead. The upper and second stage arcades have crocketed drip-moulds. The lower stage is on four wide steps, on a high plinth with bronze memorial tablets on each face. On the lowest stage of the structure are eight bronze plaques inscribed with the names of the fallen and the dedicatory inscription.
