A bronze seated figure in judge's robes on a stone pedestal with inscription. There are four corner terminals. N. C. Tindal was born in Chelmsford and educated at the Grammar School. He became Solicitor General and Chief Justice of Common Pleas. He figured in several celebrated cases as judge.
