A series of three steel, forged seats, fences and three gates set around a tarmac area at the entrance to the Riverside Walk. Each of the gates are decorated in a maritime theme with several masts and sails. The decoration on the seats is also inspired by maritime theme. The seat pads are cut out with fish shapes and one of seat backs is shaped like sails with the arch of the Tyne Bridge. The second seat back is shaped as sails with fish and jellyfish swimming between them. The third, centre seat back, is shaped with sails, a sailing boat and a giant crab.
