Roger de Grey
1918–1995
Landscape painter and teacher, born in Penn, Buckinghamshire, nephew of the painter Spencer Gore and married to artist Flavia Irwin. Was at Chelsea School of Art, 1936–9 and again 1946–7, his teachers including Ceri Richards, Robert Medley and Raymond Coxon.
