Jack Merriott

1901–1968

Painter, poster designer, illustrator and teacher. Studied at Croydon School of Art and St Martin’s School of Art. He was a member of the Wapping Group of Artists, of which for a time he was vice-president; Croydon Art Society; Langham Sketch Club; and St Ives Society of Artists.
