One of two life sized statues that are set into the wall either side of the drawbridge at Edinburgh Castle. One of a pair with EDIN062 (William Wallace). Bruce stands to to the south, and Wallace to the north. Bruce is shown wearing a crown and chain mail with a shield to one side, an ornate belt, his cloak draped over his shoulders and sword at his side. The statue sits in a sculptured niche with an ornate canopy.
