A sunlit Norfolk river landscape with, to the right, a cottage nestled amongst trees. To the left, by a windmill, cattle can be seen grazing, in the centre a woman and her three children are on a wooded jetty about to climb into a small boat steadied by a man.

James Burnet made an etching after this painting, published in 1830 as part of Stark's 'Rivers of Norfolk' series.
