The figure, wearing a gilded gold robe, is reclining on his right shoulder which is supported by a rectangular pillow which is incised and decorated with red and gold. The robe covers the left shoulder only. The left hand rests on the thigh and the robe curves down in pronounced folds towards the base. The hair is black, with the ushnisha forming a gentle mound. The face is serene, the eyes almost closed and with a slightly protruding upper lip.
