Five characters are depicted in a forest with a temple in the background. Two figures, a woman and a monkey – possibly a servant girl and Hanuman – are kneeling at the bottom of the panel. They appear to be assisting a male and a female, Rama and Sita, (in Indonesian culture Sita is called Sinta). The demonic figure of Ravana, (in Indonesian culture, Rawana), is shown at the top of the panel. All of the human figures appear to be elaborately dressed.
