The sculpture depicts a forest scene with a central figure, Sita (Sinta), standing behind the vulture Jatayu, who has outstretched wings and is protecting her from Rawana who is abducting her. The scene is surrounded by a floral border. The main wood section rests on a carved wooden base with a regulated leaf design.
