White earthenware transfer-printed underglaze in blue with Greek pattern. Moulded oval dish with pronounced, scalloped border, deep sides and flat, oval centre; on the reverse the footrim is also shaped in the same design as the edges of the dish. In the centre is a scalloped medallion design, decorated with male and female figures presenting offerings to a seated, female figure, holding a vase. To the left of the medallion is a large vase and to the right a covered dish, all are bordered by four-petalled flowers between two scalloped lines, all reserved in a blue ground, the outside edge of the dish is also bordered with this same, geometric design. The sides of the dish are decorated with four urns between four, shaped reserves, each with classical scenes and the spaces between them are decorated with fruit and flowers, reserved in a blue ground.
