A full-length portrait statue of Nicolo Paganini playing the violin. He is wearing concert dress with tails, and slip-on shoes with decorative detail on the upper foot, tight trousers to the ankles, with a tight double-breasted jacket. A fob chain hangs from his waist, and two large flowers lie at his feet, as a tribute. He is shown in the action of plucking the violin, his right hand held aloft, his left arm, holding the violin, tucked in. His right knee bent and there is no bow. He has long, straight hair parted in the centre, side whiskers with his shirt collar high around his chin. He is looking down, noble, creating a wonderful profile. The work is mounted on a polished wooden block base with a bronze tied wreath at the front and forms part of the Foyle Menuhin Archive.
