The National Builders, Labourers and Constructional Workers Society, Walworth Branch banner, of around 1921. The National Builders, Labourers and Constructional Workers Society (NBLCWS) was founded in 1889 under the name of the United Builders' Labourers' Union, changing its name in 1920. They were one of the many unions founded during the 'great boom' in New Unionism that followed the success of the 1889 Great Dock Strike. In 1952 the society merged with the Amalgamated Union of Building Trade Workers. This banner was made by the banner makers George Tutill, founded in London in 1827.
