A sculpted memorial depicting a man lying on his death bed with his left hand reaching up towards heaven. Kneeling on the floor but otherwise prostrate across his knees is a woman. Behind him to the right is a small, draped table with a vase and an open book on which there is an inscription. Reverend Durrand was Dean of Guernsey and founded a hospital on the island.

Dean and Surrogate of Guernsey and its dependencies. Died 30 January 1832 aged 87. Also his wife, Anne de Jersey, who died 24 January 1850 aged 85.
