A stele with sides tapering upwards is surmounted by a pediment with acroteria and central palmette. On the stele two female figures, with arms around each other's shoulders, are mourning over an urn on a cylindrical pedestal. Below is a narrow plinth and the inscription tablet with a convex front. John Phillimore lived in New Broad Street, London.
