A standing figure of Herminie Eckstein as a young woman with outstretched arms in an ancient Greek dress on a stone plinth. The statue faces west towards the tombs of Frederick Eckstein and Bernard Eckstein. Herminie Beatrice Eckstein (1893–1945), laid the foundation stone for the enlargement of Christ Church in 1935. The early date of the statue suggests either that this figure was selected as a memorial before her death or that a favourite piece of sculpture was used as a memorial afterwards.
