This limited-edition sculpture is a miniature version of the 'Winged Figure' sculpture commissioned in 1961 for the front of the John Lewis & Co. store on Oxford Street, London. This small version is made of polished aluminium and mass-produced string mounted on a Cornish slate base. BH 450 in the artist's catalogue raisonné.
