A mile post with later First World War memorial plaque added. The post is a square stone pillar with decorative pyramid top, mounted on a square stone. The town names and a flower decoration are carved on each of four sides of the pillar. An inscription and the names of the fallen have been added on one side of the pillar below the town name.
