A sculpted memorial. Above the plaque is a kneeling woman in robes leaning against a burial casket, in the left hand she holds some flowers, and her right hand is touching her forehead. Below the plaque is the family coat of arms. De Beauvoir founded the Priaulx Library as he believed that everyone should have access to books.
