The Spiral of Time begins in the two sculptural seats on top of the green mounds, the nuclei. The concepts are expressed in ambigrams inscribed into the seats, the words 'spirals' and 'time' which can be read either way up to read the same way. These seats also allow a step back, that important moment in the personal history of cancer diagnosis and treatment in which it is necessary to have room and time to be able to look at the bigger picture.
