Magdalen Aston was the daughter of Sir Thomas Aston, the first Baronet, by Anne, his second wife, and sister of Sir Willoughby Aston, Bt. She married Sir Robert Burdett, the third Baronet in 1676, and died in 1694. Their son, Sir Robert Burdett, was a strong Jacobite and assisted the Young Pretender in his march south.
