Robert was admitted to the Mercers in 1879 and served as Master of the Mercers' Company in 1913.
There has been a long family association with the Mercer’s Company, Robert Baden-Powell’s father, the Reverend Baden Powell, had been admitted in 1822. Today, the Baden-Powell family are still active members.
