A depiction of Leda and the swan. The story from Greek mythology where upon Zeus took on the form of a swan to rape Leda who subsequently bore two children Helen and Polydeuces. The sculpture completed at a time when Wedgwood was living in the locality of Bishops Park. It was a gift of the sculptor to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.
