The picture is split in two by a horizontally flowing s-shaped vine. A variety of insects, a lizard and some cupids are placed on and around it. To the left, the sea with a figure with a heart-shaped head sitting in a winged canoe. To the right, seven men with cows\' rather than human heads kneel around and worship a pole decorated with rams\' heads. Their backs are turned to the viewer and steam billows in front of and above them.
