View of Kenilworth Castle in greens and blues, painted from a raised viewpoint, showing accurate architectural details and the ornamental garden, with fountain statue, within the castle walls. It is surrounded by a moat, with swans.

The painting is a copy of a drawing of a no-longer-extant 1620 fresco at Newnham Paddox, the seat of the Earl of Denbigh. It shows the buildings that Henry V moved from the Pleasance to within the Castle walls and an accurate view of the fountain statue in the garden. An engraving of the drawing of 1716 by Henry Beighton, after the Newnham Paddox fresco, exists.
