A woman sitting, her legs stretched in front of her, and crossed at the ankles. Her head, with her hair gathered into a bun at the back, is lowered, and she has her right hand and arm across her face. Her left arm and hand support her weight upon the seat. This piece was conceived by Maillol in 1900, with the present bronze cast at a later unknown date.
