Jemima Waldegrave of Lawford (near Colchester) married John, Lord Crewe. They had some six children.

Cornelius Johnson was a Dutch painter living in London. He painted many of the English Court and gentry before returning to the Netherlands in 1643 at the outbreak of the Civil War.
