A market cross, dated 1675 but possibly earlier, and restored 1911. The cross stands on a wide hexagonal plinth of five steps, and a chamfered hexagonal base. The tall shaft is octagonal in the lower half and cylindrical above, with moulded collar and cap, bearing a weather vane topped by a figure in Carolean costume. The letters IW are thought to be the initials of the lord of the manor at that time (1675), John Warren of Poynton in Cheshire. He was a member of the Council of the Welsh Marches and Judge of Chester, and died in 1706. The steps of the base have been tied with metal plates. The cross was probably associated with ancient cattle and sheep fairs held in Rogation week and in October each year, and said to have been famous as 'Inglewhite Bull Fair i'th'North'.
