This painting was part of the preparation for a project to create a piece of work for the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital. Staff and children at Glaitness Primary School were invited to make doodles of their favourite things and the artists then worked on these to produce the final piece for installation in the hospital.

Collaborative artists Matilda Tumim and Chris Prendergast work together as a natural extension of their shared life. For them, collaboration is a symbiotic process and it is their common intention to provoke thoughts about the nature of beauty through their artwork.
