An eighteenth-century British lead sculpture of a heraldic eagle, wings outstretched, a Baron’s coronet around its neck, its head turned to its left. Painted stone colour, it is mounted on a pier abutting the main steps to the house, a companion to NT 772060.2. It was part of Robert Adam's (1728–1792) remodelling of Osterley Park between 1760 and 1780. Inherited by descent to George Francis Child-Villiers, 9th Earl of Jersey.
