The oil painting of 1919 depicts an officer’s charger being ridden by Major Sir Eric Bonham, 2nd Dragoons (The Royal Scots Greys). The original was loaned to the Museum by the Bonham family and subsequently returned to them in 2012. The reproduction is a high-quality canvas print, printed by Bourne Frames of Edinburgh.
