Full length statue of Lady Godiva, shown just disrobed preparatory to her famous naked ride through the streets of Coventry. Details show the strong influence of Tennyson's poem 'Godiva', published in 1842. This statue of Godiva is probably the one exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1854.
