Kali in her form of 'Dakshinakali', standing on the prostrate form of her husband Shiva. She wears a long garland of skulls and has four arms, with hands holding a sword, a trishula (trident), a dagger, and a bowl made from the top of a skull. Two small figures of devotees praying to her appear on the base. There are traces of red ochre or paint all over her body, put there to represent her intoxication due to anger.
